In September 2005, five out-of-home companies: Astral Media Outdoor, NEWAD, Pattison Outdoor, CBS Outdoor, and Zoom Media announced the creation of the Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada (OMAC). The founding companies represent over 80% of the country’s Out-of-Home media inventory, and their partnership marks a fundamental change in working together.

The formation of OMAC offers member companies the opportunity to collectively promote their strengths and develop new initiatives to increase understanding of the out-of-home medium among agencies and advertisers.

OMAC is managed by a board of directors, with representatives from each of the five member companies.
